Ride Description:
A wonderful ride around the south-central mountains of New Mexico. Steeped in cultural and geological history, the ride offers many side-attractions that would easily extend this ride to a weekend ride. Ghost towns, a catwalk through a canyon over a large river, American-Indian cliff dwellings. A sports-bike rider's dream, some of the twisty parts will be satisfying and exciting work on a heavy cruiser. Autumn is the best time. Spring flowers are stunning, but be prepared for afternoon thunderstorms.
