Ride Description:
Started from Farragut through Lenoir City to Maryville. Instead of taking the Dragon, take 411 to 360. 360 is a lovely cruise with lakes and hills and views of the mountains to come. After Telico Plains before you ascend the mountain, a picturesque Tennessee mountain stream is your ride companion on the left and the right. Great overlooks. Lots of turns. Fall foliage incredible until you get to the NC line. After that no leaves and some snow. Ride from Telico Plains to Robinsville would be great in the summer sans snow. Ate at Kat's Deli in Telico Plains. Delicious sandwiches and iced tea where you scoop the ice out of a igloo cooler with a metal pasta spoon. Beauiful ride.
