Ride Description:
Exit the NW side of Orlando heading north around Lake Opopka eventually getting on the hwy 441 north into Mt Dora. Continue to the south of then around Lake Eustis. There are good historical points of interest and restaurants in this area.
Continue past Lake Yale and Emeralda Marsh into Leesburg, home of one of the best motorcycle rallys in Florida. Continue north to Paradise Harbor which is a nice pub that overlooks Lake Harris.
The west side of Lake Apopka is rural. Winter Garden is another good place to rest with things to see.
Overall there are lots of places and small towns to stop and look around on this route and it could easily turn into a day ride if you take your time.
