Ride Description:

Starts and ends at Patty's Pantry in Southbury. There is a Mobil gas station next door and I think it's a little high priced. We usually make this run on Saturday or Sunday and the traffic is light and the gas stations and places to eat that I mention here are usually open. Going behind Lake Quassapaug there are some huge homes. Towards the end of Rt209 in Bantam on the right will be Wood's Pit BBQ & Mexican Cafe. At the corner of Rt's 4, 43 and 128 is a gas station.

If you go straight across Rt7 on Rt126 then turn onto Main St in Falls Village you will find Toymakers Cafe. Where Rt7 and Rt128 intersect is a one lane covered bridge and the Wandering Moose Cafe is just over that. Where Rt4 and Rt7 intersect in Cornwall Brige there is a gas station (they have free coffee on the 1st of the month), down a little further is a little store. There is a nice but slow loop around Lake Waramaug off of Rt45, just take a right onto North Shore Rd before you get into New Preston. Just before the intersection of Rt109 on Rt47on the left is a great place to eat, J D Tuckers, I have not yet had a bad meal there. Before you get to Rt317 on Rt67 there will be a gas station on the left.
