Ride Description:
Exit Redding, CA north past Mt Shasta. A couple miles after Weed take old hwy 99 north to Gazelle where you head west on Gazelle Callaghan Rd which eventually turns into the Trinity Heritage Scenic Byway. This will eventually hit hwy 3 where you continue south past Trinity lake to Hwy 299 east back to Redding, CA. The byway portion of this ride is extremely challenging with narrow roads, tight curves, and off camber riding. Great scenery along the way. Check the weather before taking this ride in esp. in the spring and fall seasons.
