Ride Description:
This is a short, fun route in the city - obviously it won't take an hour; about a 5 minute jaunt to enjoy some mild twisties.
A nice winding road cut out of the cliff face overlooking the East Bottoms. Several scenic overlook points are available - many of which overlook such points of interest as abandoned factories and bum encampments. My suggestion: enjoy the ride and just keep rolling.
Route is closed to vehicles on the weekend - there are enough shadowed hollows that ice and snow lingers long after it's gone elsewhere - often late into spring.
If you're a local, it's a nice fun ride ride in the city. If you're visting KC, it's close to downtown and right near several of the major attractions: 18th and Vine, Natural History museum and of course, Arthur Bryants.
