Ride Description:
The Sonora Pass is a junction connecting the CA valley east of Modesto to 395 east of the Sierras. Its a high altitude mtn pass with snow in the fall, winter, and early spring so check forecast and weather prior to riding and use appropriate gear.
There are places to stop and eat in Mi-Wuk Village and some old mining sites along the way for those who like to explore. Pinecrest is a good stopping point for those not looking to cross the entire pass.
