Ride Description:
Really beautiful ride up to and around lake Mahopac. You can stop there and grab some pub food or deli food (or bring food with you and picnic at a spot around the lake). Then the route takes you another 5 miles north up to Carmel, around the local lake and back down to create a 65 mile loop. We went on a really nice Saturday and there was no traffic. The roads are scenic and at points can be challenging but overall they are fun roads with lots of curves, hills and rolls!
