Ride Description:
Sunrise Park Rd is a windy mountain road that takes you up the east side of Mt Rainer, accessible from the 410 / Mather Memorial Pkwy. Route is usually open between the months of June to October. Road conditions in some areas are really bad, proceed with caution first time up.
There is a visitor center at the top with some great hiking trails and telescopes to look at the mountain glaciers through. There are also a few campsites about a mile past the visitor center where the road ends.
