Ride Description:
Exit hwy 15 North. Take hwy 93 (northbound) 12 miles outside of Las Vegas. In about 70 miles after Ash Springs turn left (north / west) on hwy 375 / The Extraterrestrial Hwy. In about 15 miles as the hwy 375 begins to break north you will see 51 / Groom rd and about 5 miles after that Mailbox Road, both of which are the primary entrances to the area 51 facility (mapped). These entrances to area 51 are dirt roads and eventually end at a checkpoint where you will be forced to turn around.
Continuing on 375 north you will arrive in Rachel, NV which is known for The Little A'Le'Inn and other area 51 tourist attractions.

As of early 2007 there is no longer a gas station in Rachel, NV. The nearest gas stations are either 60 miles south in Ash Springs or 110 miles north in Tonopah. The route is primarily open desert. A nice cruise but not much action in terms of riding.
Continuing on 375 north you will arrive in Rachel, NV which is known for The Little A'Le'Inn and other area 51 tourist attractions.
