Ride Description:
Shorter ride out to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
Exit North Las Vegas heading east on Lake Mead Blvd and follows the shoreline south through Lake Las Vegas to Hoover Dam. There is a toll station entering the Recreation area and its $6 (good for 5 days per 2007). Nice open desert scenery along this side of the lake. Also usually stays cooler than the valley in the summer.
