Ride Description:
Exit Reno west on hwy 80 up to Truckee, CA. Take hwy 89 to the west side of Lake Tahoe and follow it around to South Shore. Lots of turns + lake and mountain views. South Shore would be a good breaking point for the ride. Return on the east side of the lake on hwy 50 to hwy 28 then head up over Mt Rose hwy back into the Reno Valley.
Lots of high altitude lake and valley views on both sides. Also lots of turnouts to stop and check it out. Great day ride and scenic the whole trip.
