Stay inside the area bounded by NY2 from Cropseyville to Petersburg, NY22 to Lebanon, US20 to Schodack Center, and NY150, NY43, and NY351 back to Cropseyville.
Roads follow creeks, cross high open tundra, twist, and curve. Farm and rural areas with lots of up and down, no real mountains. In general roads are good, though in the spring there will be potholes and gravel washed from unpaved side roads and drives. The speed limits can get you into trouble. Spend a lifetime here and never be bored.
