Ride Description:

Starting from Melbourne on A1A at Eau Gallie Blvd, ride down towards Vero. On this stretch, you enjoy great views of the Indian River. A great alternate route to A1A is US1 south (scenic road stretch). Then on SR 60, you will cross Orange groves up to Yeehaw Junction. In the springtime, the smell of orangeblossom is striking. Fill up your tank on SR 60 (in the Vero Area since gas points are limited from this point on (one gas station at Kenansville only). The ride on Canoe Creek is beautiful if you like rural scenery. There is a convenient store when you reach US192 where you get supplies for the rest of the ride. Then jump on Nova Road that branches off US192. This road is flat, straight and practically desert for several miles. This road will lead to SR520 and then to Merritt Island. The ride back to Melbourne via CR3 is quiet and beautiful. You will have great views of Indian River (again) especially towards the end of the day. Enjoy!
