Ride Description:

Rt. 9 between Bangor and the Canadian Border is nothing but uphill and downhill sweepers for almost the entire 90 miles. Be warned, though: there's pretty much nothing else out there. Gas up and eat before you go. If you're riding to Canada, skip Coastal Rt. 1. Take the interstate to Bangor and then Rt. 9 to the border. Not only is it a great ride, it's faster and you're less likely to be stuck behind a Winnebago doing 40.
