Ride Description:

This stretch of hwy 36 is literally known as one of the best motorcycle routes in the US. This ride would be a 2 day trip to the cost with great road conditions and scenery.

Exit Redding west on Placer street continuing through Igo / Ono eventually connecting with hwy 36 about 40 miles out. In another 110 miles you will be in Humbolt Bay where there are pleaty of places to stop & stay throughout Eureka and Arcata. It stays cool on this section of the coast so watch the weather and pack accordingly.

The return trip takes Hwy 299 west for about 150 miles through windy mountain roadways passing over Whiskeytown Lake just before you drop back down into Redding.
