Ride Description:

This is a great DIRT ROUTE for the dual-sport fans.

Catalina Highway is paved all the way to the top of the mountain but the road down the north face of the mountain is a well-maintained dirt fire road.

Campo Bonito Road is a little hard to fine when riding from West to East but is easy to find if you run the loop counter-clockwise and head out Redington Road (also a well-maintained fire road) and come back over Mount Lemmon.

Watch for ice in the winter in higher elevations and wash outs and flash floods during the summer monsoon. This is also open range area, so watch for cows.
