Ride Description:

Alternate Death Valley route out of Las Vegas that will take you through a shorter portion of the valley itself. Slightly shorter than the Shoshone route, still good terrain, roadway, and scenery.Exit Las Vegas west towards Pahrump on hwy 160. Turn left on West Bell Vista Ave which turns into Ash Meadows Rd then State Line Rd. At the Death Valley Junction turn Right (north) then an immediate left on hwy 190 / Death Valley Scenic Byway. Hwy 190 will drop down into the valley just beyond Furnace Creek at the Badwater junction. Stay north on hwy 190 to Stovepipe Wells. From Stove pipe wells proceed west back to Beatty then take 95 South back to Las Vegas. Avoid this ride in the summer as it starts to get hot out there in April.
