Ride Description:
Nice River and mountain views along state route 224 south to Detroit Lake. Very few services until the Lake area. Roadway has a few rough patches and is best traveled in the warm season to avoid snow in the higher elevations.
Lots of options on the return route. Hwy 22 to I-5 in Salem or you can take one of many back roads north through Silverton or Silver Falls State park.
