Ride Description:

Nice loop down through the Plains and Canyons of N. Texas.

Take the 287 east to the 207 heading south along the eastern side of the Palo Duro Canyon State Park. There is an overlook about mid way down the 207 that is a popular bike destination / hangout on weekends.

When you get to Silveron take the 256 east along the northern edge of the Caprock Canyons State Park. When you arrive in South Brice take the 70 north back to the 287 which will return you to Amarillo.

Great canyon scenery along this route and nice turns make for good riding. Lots of places to swim and hike along the way. Could easily make a day out of this trip if you take your time and look around.
