Ride Description:

Exit Las Vegas 95 North (easy access meeting spot at the gas station on NE corner of Durango / 95). North on 95 to Lee Canyon Road. Exit west ascending up mountain to ski park ... you can go all the way up to the helicopter pad for a decent view of the ski park / canyon. Back track a few miles to 158 / Deer Creek Hwy that cuts over to Kyle Canyon. Head west up canyon until the road loops back east into the lodge parking lot ... a popular bike destination with a restaurant that has outdoor seating with great views. Return down 157 back to the 95 south back to Las Vegas.

Area has snow in the winter months and you need to watch for sand in the higher elevation portion of this ride in the spring. Also watch for rocks and loose gravel that is sometimes in the road along the 158 junction. This is a good early morning summer ride in Las Vegas to get out of the hot weather.
