Ride Description:
Nice day trip starting down the Georgia coastline from Savannah to Brunswick on hwy 17 south. Lots of historic civil war sites as well as small detours available to check out some of the coastal islands. Traffic slows in some of the congested areas. Road varies from divided hwy to 2 lane road.
Return route is inland through Jesup then on the 25 through the Black Swamp and lots of other small historic town back into Savannah. Good scenery on this portion of the ride. Lots of road stops and traffic is light.
Ride could easily take a full day if you spend time looking around along.
